Charlotte's research examines the role of knowledge and expertise in political communication and policymaking processes. 

 

In doing so, she investigates how research is communicated (science communication & journalism) and put into practice (science policy & diplomacy) across a wide range of empirical contexts, from polar governance to political satire.
